Organize your digital photos with Picasa
It’s no secret that Picasa is our favorite photo cataloging and editing application. We advise people all the time to uninstall the software that shipped with their digital camera and use Picasa instead. Picasa pulls the pictures out of your digital camera or off of your flash memory device and makes it easy for even non-technical people to catalog, edit, manipulate, and share them.

Good post - I never really considered it as a replacement for the camera software…it seems totally obvious now! I think that the digicam manufacturers should just include an OEM copy of Picasa anyway…!
